Classrooms
Infant Class
We have two Infant Classrooms. They are filled with love and have lots of room to grow! These classrooms are designed to provide a quiet, nurturing, homelike environment that will encourage infants to explore and reach each and every growth and development milestone. These classrooms and the teachers are all centered on meeting and exceeding each infant's specific learning needs and goals.
Our Infant Program is geared toward infants six weeks through eighteen months. The Primary goal of our infant program is to help your child develop their gross motor skills while recognizing that fine motor and cognitive learning is also important. As your child develops they will begin to participate in multiple activities that their teacher plans each day including Language Arts, Sensory Stimulation, Creative Art, Self-Help and Life Skills, Music and Movement along with Social and Emotional Stimulation.

Toddler Class
This is our Toddler Classroom. It has a large amount of space for the toddlers to spread out and experience success each day! Here the children are focusing on self-concept and receiving special interaction that is personalized and one on one. The children are learning through play as they explore in their safe and secure environment. Motor skills are developed and fine-tuned throughout with stimulating and educational hands-on activities.
Our Toddler Program is designed towards toddlers ages eighteen months through 2 1/2 years. This is where the children are introduced to theme based curriculum and are beginning to follow a classroom schedule for structure and stability. The toddlers curriculum uses a hands on approach to introduce the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes to your child. They also discuss a different theme each week with themes ranging from "All About Me" to "Summer Safety and Beyond." Our Toddler teachers know that they are the first formal steps on your child's educational journey and look forward to being your partner on that important journey.

Transitions Twos
Here is our Transition Classroom, the children are changing from Toddlers to Preschoolers and need a great deal of structure balanced with play. This classroom is where the children begin to learn Life and Self-Help Skills on a more advanced level. It is equipped with a potty training station. This classroom creates an environment that is challenging, motivating and supportive as the children continue to grow and develop. The children in this class are lucky to be engaged in learning throughout most of the day with creative professionally developed learning activities.
Preschool Class
We have three different Preschool Classrooms that start at age three. Each is set up into two different sections to maximize learning, one side focusses on play and has centers, while the other is for learning and activities as a group. Here the children are able to participate in many group and individual lessons to prepare them for Kindergarten. They are engaging in teacher based and child based activities throughout monthly and weekly lessons.
At Las Colinas Children's Academy we divide our preschoolers into three different groups. Age is our primary factor in grouping but we also evaluate your child's academic and social skills. Las Colinas Children's Academy prides itself in offering a creative yet challenging curriculum that will prepare your child for Kindergarten and beyond. We use Mother Goose Time Curriculum, it is developed by professionals and keeps our center organized with planned monthly themes. It covers a wide variety of skills to prepare children for Kindergarten. Some of those skills include: Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematics and Reasoning, Social Studies, Creative Development, Science, and Second Language Acquisition.
